Choosing the right RO water filter for

Your Aquarium.  

 

 

 

WHAT IS DE-MINERALIZE  ( DI ) REVERSE OSMOSIS.

RO water purifications systems will reduce and eliminate TDS (total dissolved solids) like salts and minerals from our drinking water. However contrary to common beliefs, less than 1% of the organic minerals are actually found in most raw water supplies. With the increase of pollutants, our water supply contains mostly inorganic minerals. Inorganic minerals consist of calcium, iron, magnesium, carbonate and lime compounds, which are not compatible with our bodies. The body’s cells reject theses minerals leaving dissolved inorganic substances (acid crystals – minerals deposits) throughout the body. This accumulation of debris creates more work and trouble for the body, such as arthritis in joints, gallstones, kidney stones and mineral deposits in artery walls. Organic minerals that are considered soluble, which means the body absorbs sustenance into the cells, are found in our live foods such as fruits & vegetables. One glass of freshly squeezed orange juice would be higher in minerals than 30 gallons of untreated raw water. Purified water provides a necessary rinsing treatment for hydration purposes as our body is mostly fluid (over 80% water) and equally important to rinse impurities out of our body.  


Drinking purified water both prevents inorganic minerals from entering our bodies and removes inorganic mineral deposits already there.

  - Lower than 45 PSI you must add booster pump + high pressure shut-off switch.

  - Higher than 75 PSI Add pressure control valve to fix the pressure @ 60 to 65 PSI.

• System only to be used on biologically safe water supply.
• Filter cartridges should be changed every 6 to 8 months.

MAX WATER PRODUCT FEATURES:

- 1st Stage - 1 Micron Polypropylene Sediment Filter

To remove larger & small particles & suspended matter such as dirt, silt, rust, sand, algae, sediment, scale particles, dirt and cloudiness from water.

Replace every 6~12 months

 

- 2nd Stage -T33 GAC Coconut Shell Granular Activated Carbon Filter + PP Filter Cartridge.

To remove chlorine, pesticides, herbicides, bad taste & odours. and carbon fines may pass from first or second stage "same stage"

Filtration Life: 3-6 months or 2500gallons  (Depending on water quality and level of contaminants)

Max. Operating Pressure: 80psi

Max. Flow rate: 2.5GPM

Replace every 6~12 months or lasts 2,500 gallons

 

- 3rd Stage – Carbon Block Filter

It Takes 99% of the chlorine & organic chemicals also removes herbicides, pesticides, chlorine bi-products to protect membrane

Replacement each 6 months or lasts 3,000 gallons. 

 

- 4th Stage - Fillit TFC Membrane 100 Gallons per day Model #  TW-2012-100GPD

  (FILMTEC MEMBRANE MATERIAL)

To remove particles down to 1/10,000 of a micron (which is 98% of impurities

Including Organic and inorganic, chemicals).

Replace every 2 years.

 

- 5th Stage – DI filter ( Mix Bed Resin ) named as de-ionization stage     

Demineralization Resin used to produce 99.99% pure water by simply attaching this convenient deionization filter with RO unit. Convenient post RO filtration DI unit (RO/DI unit) provides crucial supplemental filtration to remove most impurities for pure polished product water. Excellent in areas with hard water. Produce 99.99% pure water. It will give you 0 ppm TDS, Conductivity attainable less than 0.1uS/cm or resistivity of close to 18 meg.ohm. Simply DI filter removes remaining of dissolved solids after RO system

For connecting your counter top water purification system 1/4" Tubing directly to most kitchen faucet for easy use.

It connects to the top of the faucet.  When it is at Off position, you can still use the kitchen faucet water.

When it is at On position, it diverts water to your water purification system system.

It fits most faucet.

 

ASK to exchange the above diverter Valve with the following 1/2" threaded water inlet block & valve

  I purchased the 100 gallon per day reef aquarium reverse osmosis water system RO/DI to use in my Discus hatchery, as Discus require soft water and a low ph for breeding. My water has total dissolved solids of 375 ppm and a ph of 8.7 which is liquid rock. With the R/O unit that I purchased from "Max Water" I now can supply water for my Discus hatchery that has a low to 0 ppm of TDS and a ph of 6.6, and with the float valve I can turn on the RO/DI unit and forget about it, knowing that the float valve will shut everything off when it reaches the level that I have it set at. The best part is that you can not beat the price!.... Thank You "Max Water"
