So far, so good - my granddaughter noticed a change in the water flavor the day after I installed it. The water volume is a little less but we can live with it - only wish the filters had 1" inlets and outlets to help overcome this. The system was pretty easy to install and I am watching to see what the future brings - hopefully the water volume doesn't go down further and laundry whites come out whiter. I had questions at the beginning and the Max Water folks were very helpful.
