- This diverter male adapter is used to connect the kitchen faucet to a diverter valve. This male adapter, which is 55/64"-27 (Diverter threaded size) and 15/16" (your kitchen internal faucet threaded size) will attach the diverter valve to the kitchen faucet and permit you to continue to use your kitchen faucet.
