Detailed Description
We highly recommend using a leak detector tray especially if you have a system that may be left attended for long periods of time, such as a cottage, RV or rental unit.
This tray provides additional peace of mind when used alongside our lever-type leak detector catching and collecting water that may come from very slow leaks. The tray can be clamped to the bottom of most 10” standard housing and can also mounted on a wall or cabinet just below your system.
With a tray setup we do suggest flipping up the detector and removing the pad prior to changing filters as opening up the housings will cause some water to collect in the tray, soaking the pad. After the filter change is complete and you've checked for leaks, and dried the tray thoroughly you can put the pad back into detector and it's ready to go.
