- Inspect your package carefully upon arrival, If there is any damaged part, missing OR defective parts, we must receive written notice via e-mail within 24 hours and the item has to be in the original wrapping (no claim will be accepted after 48 hours for any reasons), The defective item(s) has to be in their original nylon wrapping upon the claim, some pictures may be required. We will not cover any replacement or broken parts after installation. In the case of the buyer incorrectly installing the parts/units, or not conforming to our product requirements, we will not offer any warranty and will not be liable for any damage.
- We apologize for this inconvenience but due to the number of inexperienced buyers attempting to repair their own equipment we have had to resort to this policy.
- We strongly recommend you to have the system that you purchased, installed by a professional or a knowledgeable person, in order to protect yourself from any losses.
- Shipping costs to and from Max Water, of products to be considered for warranty, shall be borne by the buyer unless otherwise specified in the warranty conditions listed above.
- Any costs associated with the removal or installation of the product for warranty consideration shall be borne by the buyers. Please note that some of our systems are designed as DIY - do it yourself, therefore there should not be any costs associated with removal or installation of these systems.
Unless otherwise stated, MaxWater® warrants water systems only against any defects for a one-year period from the original date of consumer purchase on new water systems and 90 days on all other repairs.
MaxWater® warranty products to the direct purchaser only as a result of a manufacturer’s defect for a period of one year after the date of the original purchase. The warranty is subject to the limitations written below:
· Proof of the original purchase from MaxWater®is required to fulfill the one-year warranty. All non-MaxWater®products are subject to their own manufacturer's warranty. This one-year warranty does not apply to consumable items such as filters, membranes, tanks, transformers, permeate pumps, and system housing threads. When properly installed, maintained, and operated, our merchandise is expected to perform the work for which it is intended.
·MaxWater®assumes no liability in connection with its product or any "third party products" other than what is specified herein the warranty.
·Even when a MaxWater®sales representative provides recommendations regarding filter types or system configuration, such advice does not extend or modify the warranty. MaxWater® is not responsible for product performance related to variations in local water chemistry, which can change at any time.
·MaxWater®will not authorize any person or third-party representative to assume any obligations or sell its products. MaxWater®is not liable for any incidental or consequential damages caused by the equipment and its failure to function properly.
· Damage to any part of the system or any part of the products included because of misuse, alteration, misapplication, accident, breakage, an installation by anyone other than a certified professional plumber, incompatibility with accessories not sold or approved byMaxWater®, damage caused by nature, or acts of God, are not covered by this warranty.
· We will not cover the replacement of broken parts after installation if the system is altered or disassembled without prior consultation with our technical team. The customer will be responsible for any resulting damages. Any system failures, such as leaks or pressure drops, must be reported immediately for further advice. If a return is approved, the customer will be responsible for the cost of returning the system, and restocking fees will apply.
Other Items Not Covered Under This One-Year Warranty
· Normal wear and tear.
· Damage due to misuse, physical force, torquing the fitting, housing, or other parts with extensive force, improper installation or operation, high water pressure, mishandling, fire, heat, external water, high humidity 50% and up, other liquids/oils, insect infestation, or other intrusions.
·Products that have been altered, repaired, or modified by the user.
· Damage caused by the use of non-MaxWater®accessories or misapplication ofMaxWater®accessories.
·MaxWater®products whose labels have been removed, altered or rendered illegible.
·MaxWater®products purchased, shipped to or used, and/or serviced outside Canada or the United States.
· No other warranty is valid in combination with the one-year warranty.
· Products returned without valid proof of original purchase.
· No other warranty is valid in combination with the one-year warranty.
The warranty covers parts and in-shop labor only. We offer only a 15-day manufacturer defect warranty on electrical power supplies, transformers, Boosters, UV quartz, and UV bulbs. We offer a 90-day warranty on the faucets. No claims will be accepted afterward. No warranties apply to electrical or water system parts installed by the end-user. No warranties apply to filter replacements, membranes, filter housing cracks or damages to the housing sump or the head port threads, O-rings, reverse osmosis reservoir tanks, permeate pumps, booster pumps, UV bulbs, UV quartz, and power adapters, fittings, pressure control regulators valves, fittings and all types of media like Resins ( Mixed Bed, Softening Tennis, Nitrate, Iron ), Siliphos Anti-Scale, iron manganese sands. No warranty on booster pumps if installed in the wrong position rather than what is advertised in our technical installation sheets, no warranty if the booster is installed in the wrong place or direction. We test all the parts and any failure in the positioning of the pump, the user will be fully responsible for the damage and product return cost. Should the product become defective during the term of the warranty, we will repair or replace it, provided that the defective unit is returned to us, freight prepaid to Max Water, 225 Gibraltar Rd Unit 6, Woodbridge, Ontario, L4H 4P9, Repairs or replacements are guaranteed through the end of the original warranty.
This warranty policy is valid for our systems purchased from our website www.maxwaterflow.comonly. The rest of the websites and retail stores that sell our systems are not covered by our website warranty policy.
Out of warranty time frame, we charge a service fee starts $80 per hour, and parts and filters are an additional cost.
