Detailed Description
Build Your Aquarium/Hydroponics RO DI System
The base price is the system as shown in the picture (3 pre-filters and 1 DI are included); for any additional stage filters, TDS meters, or pressure gauge, you have to customize the system and add them yourself, "the price will vary depending on the options selected".
Some guidelines for choosing the right RO accessories for you.
- Most professional aquarium setups add a secondary mixed bed deionization filter 104050 to produce absolute pure water with Double ZERO digit TDS.
Note: This system includes the single DI filter in the standard filter combination; if you would like to have a secondary DI filter, please make sure to add it.
Optional Parts & Accessories
- Dual Inline TDS Meter:105766 Measures water TDS from two lines and ensures that the unit is functioning properly.
- Float Valve(105366): Typically employed to regulate water levels in side storage containers and avert overflow incidents, the float valve is a practical solution. It's not uncommon for individuals to manually fill a container and inadvertently forget about it until it overflows, causing potential flooding in the surrounding area. By installing a float valve in the container, you can confidently leave and attend to your daily tasks without the concern of accidental flooding. This added measure provides peace of mind and ensures that your workspace remains secure.
- Inline Quick Ball Valve (105120): This versatile valve serves multiple purposes, allowing you to manually control your system by easily turning it on and off. It eliminates the need to shut off the main line every time you conclude usage or when operating the system without a float or faucet. With this valve, you gain the flexibility to manage the system's operation independently, without disrupting the main water supply line. Additionally, it proves invaluable for various third-line applications, enhancing the overall convenience of your water system.
- Pressure Gauge:105246 To monitor the feed water pressure going into your membrane. Pressure will drop if the filter gets clogged and helps to know when to change them.
- Flush Kit:105126 Used to flush your membrane manually to extend the membrane life and efficiency. We will use another setup if you select system size 180GPD or any size system with a permeate pump.
- Optional Pressurized Tank: Select this option if you would like to have a reserve tank with your system combination
- Optional Faucet: If you've opted for a reserve tank, it is recommended to complement it with a faucet. By selecting the faucet + DI filter + Inline carbon filter option, your system will be connected in a series line with a single output line, unless you choose the Dual upgrade option. Opting for the Dual upgrade allows us to connect your DI filter in parallel. In this scenario, you must decide between an inline ball valve or a float valve to regulate the second output line (DI line). The control can be manual, utilizing the inline ball valve, or automatic, with the float valve. The faucet line will be connected to the inline carbon filter for drinking use, bypassing the RO water to the DI stage unless there is a specific requirement to connect the DI line sequentially with the carbon inline filter.
- Optional Booster Pump Kit includes Booster Pump & Transformer + High-pressure switch + Booster Pump Bracket.
- Two-way Diverter Valve: 105243 When you select this option. we will connect your drain line directly to the diverter return line, and all the wastewater will divert to your sink.
