5 Stage 50 GPD Home Drinking Water Reverse Osmosis System
5-Stage Under-Sink Reverse Osmosis System designed to provide clean, fresh-tasting water for drinking, cooking, coffee makers, ice makers, and refrigerator connections.
Key Features
- Advanced Filtration: Five filtration stages work together to reduce sediment, chlorine, dissolved minerals, and other common impurities.
- High TDS Reduction: The RO membrane can reduce up to 97% of TDS = Total Dissolved Solids. under suitable operating conditions.
- Kitchen-Friendly Design: The compact under-sink configuration fits neatly inside most kitchen cabinets.
- Fresh Water on Demand: The included storage tank keeps purified water available for drinking, food preparation, and connected appliances.
- Reduced Bottled-Water Use: Enjoy filtered water at home while reducing dependence on single-use plastic bottles.
The Max Water 5-Stage Reverse Osmosis System combines sediment filtration, activated carbon filtration, reverse osmosis, and final taste polishing to improve water clarity, taste, and odour.
Clear pre-filter housings make it easier to visually inspect the first three filter stages, while the compact frame is designed for standard residential under-sink installation.
Stages of Filtration
- Stage 1: 5-micron polypropylene sediment filter Part No. 104002
- Stage 2: Granular activated carbon (GAC) filter Part No. 104004
- Stage 3: 5-micron carbon block (CTO) filter Part No. 104005
- Stage 4: Thin-film composite RO membrane Part No. 104092
- Stage 5: Inline T33 coconut-shell GAC post-filter Part No. 104041
Included Components
- 5-stage RO unit with clear pre-filter housings
- Selected RO membrane (price varies by selection)
- Selected drinking-water faucet (price varies by selection)
- One set of pre-installed filters
- 3.2-gallon RO storage tank
- Filter-housing wrench
- Standard installation accessory pack
- Optional booster pump, when selected (additional cost)
Booster-Pump Recommendation: For membrane capacities of 150 GPD or higher, we strongly recommend adding a booster pump to help the system achieve its rated output. Actual production depends on feed-water pressure, temperature, water quality, and membrane condition.
Specifications
- Up to 97% TDS reduction after the RO membrane stage
- Approximate product-to-waste-water ratio: 1:2
- Physical dimensions:
- RO unit: 15 in. L × 6 in. D × 17 in. H
- Storage tank: 11 in. diameter × 14 in. high
- Approximate total weight: 25 lb.
- Operating-water temperature: 40–104°F, maximum 40°C
- Recommended operating pressure: 45–80 PSI
Low-Pressure Installation: If the incoming water pressure is below 45 PSI, add a booster pump and a high-pressure shut-off switch.
High-Pressure Installation: If the incoming water pressure exceeds 80 PSI, install a pressure regulator and adjust the pressure to approximately 60–65 PSI.
Warning: This system is intended only for use with a microbiologically safe water supply. Do not use it to treat water of unknown biological quality without suitable disinfection before or after the system.
Filter Replacement: Under normal residential conditions, sediment and carbon filters should generally be replaced every 6–12 months. Actual filter life depends on water quality, water usage, and local operating conditions.
Performance Notice: Membrane output, TDS reduction, and waste-water ratios are approximate and may vary depending on feed-water pressure, temperature, pH, TDS, contaminant concentration, membrane model, membrane age, and installation conditions.
TDS = Total Dissolved Solids.
